Blippit® Boards is an app used by teachers to share moments from the curriculum that together create a window into the lived experience of learners across school in all subjects.
Blippit helps teach us to do this by making it incredibly simple and quick: tag moments so that they can be automatically organised, found, presented as charts, and reported on with absolute minimum effort, avoiding becoming an additional admin activity that teachers don't have time for. It adapts for schools in England and Wales.

► What types of users can we have in Blippit Boards?
Teachers, school leaders and TAs are typical users. Guest Access will be possible again soon in 2026. We have paused this feature temporarily in version 3.
► What user limits are there?
There are no limits to the number of users or boards.
► How do we get the app?
On a desktop or laptop right now? Scroll to the bottom of the page and scan the QR code for your device type to get the app. On a mobile device right now, download the iOS or Android app. Prefer to use your laptop or desktop? ► What devices can I use?
iPad is the number one most popular device used by schools for Blippit® Boards. Version 3+ in 2026 is designed for the iPad but Android tablets are equally fine.
Requires: IOS 15.1+ or later to update to version 3.0.0 Blippit® Boards Android App needs v8.0+ or later. The web version of Blippit Boards® app runs on Google Chrome web browser and is ideal where iPads are scarce, allowing teachers to use laptops or Chromebooks instead.
► What can I add to a 'board'?
A 'board' shares a moment that a teacher has chosen to share. Teachers can use audio, videos, photos, text and tags to share their moment as aboard with other teachers in school.
► Can we edit tags?
Yes. You can add custom tags and also have bespoke Blippit Boards tag categories too. Read this post for more on curriculum tagging in Blippit®.
► Can I customise reports and charts in Blippit® Boards?
Yes. Blippit® Boards enables full customisation of reports and charts as well as exporting in a variety of formats including PDF, Docx and PNG. While most reports use tags to provide their focus, schools are also innovating by adding learner initials (e.g. ~JB) into board titles so learner specific reports can be run using the 'Search' facility.
► How does Blippit® Boards help?
Schools say that teachers enjoy seeing what colleagues are doing across school and that it's easy to be part of their routines. Blippit® promotes coherence and celebration of the curriculum. ► What training and support resources are there?
Blippit® needs minimal training. We have a Support service and your school can request a staff input via Zoom to help launch Blippit®. Visit Blippit Uni with easy-to-follow help and advice articles too.
► Is Blippit® Boards compliant with GDPR?
Yes. Blippit® is registered with the ICO and are GDPR compliant. For more information on where data is stored, encryption, security and your data rights, please visit our privacy notice page where you can also download a pre-signed data processing agreement if required.
► Does Blippit® Boards integrate with other systems like our MIS?
No integration required, for example, to manage accounts based on data stored in your school management information systems. Images, file links, sound and videos can be added from other systems like One Drive and Google Drive but no integration is required to achieve this.
