When a report is created in Blippit Boards by a teacher, it is already valuable as a curated collection of real curriculum moments captured by colleagues across the school. The new AI Curriculum Snapshot takes that a step further.
The snapshot appears as page two of a report and is generated automatically from the boards included. The AI reads titles, descriptions, and tags to produce a short, clear written overview - the kind of summary that would previously have taken a subject leader precious time to write before a meeting or review.
For teachers and subject leaders, the snapshot removes a step. Instead of paging through evidence to form a picture, the overview is already there. That time can go back into professional dialogue, planning, or simply finishing the day a little earlier.
The snapshot can be generated in either language, making it equally useful for schools across England and Wales without any extra steps.
Where boards are light on detail, the snapshot highlights them - helping teachers know where a little more context would strengthen the evidence picture. Gaps can help identify anyone who may need additional help or a check-in to help them add their moments to Blippit Boards in a more useful way.
The Blippit AI Curriculum Snapshot is optional, off by default, and requires one-time SLT activation via Whole School Settings in the dashboard. Once enabled, any teacher can choose to include it when generating a PDF report. We hope you enjoy using it but most importantly, we hope the time it returns is able to be used as you choose.
