Hide or Show Tag Categories in Blippit Boards

Remove unwanted tag categories via 'Whole School Settings' in the dashboard

Any Admin account holder can now log in to the Dashboard at boards.blippit.app to remove any unwanted tag categories from Blippit Boards for all teachers all in one go. This is the easiest way to ensure ALL teachers see exactly the same collection of tag categories. Teachers can also choose to hide other tag categories they see in the app if needed for even greater customisation.

Want to hide a category and you're not an admin?

When you first use the app, Blippit Boards shows ALL available tag categories by default until a school Admin has hidden the ones school doesn't need. Even after this has been done, you can still hide other categories if you want to customise further due to your role.

England or Wales

Schools in Wales have categories with the Welsh flag in their title for easy identification when choosing to hide or show them.

Other frameworks

Blippit caters for schools who use different accreditation frameworks. Hide or show these as needed. e.g.

1. ‍‍Hide the SIAMS category if you're a Catholic or community school.
2. Hide the CSI category unless you're a Catholic school
3. Hide the Values-based Education, Global Neighbours, Eco-schools and UNICEF RRSA categories if you won't be adding a tag in for these frameworks as you go along.

This shows (below) how teachers can individually hide or show tag categories for additional customisation.

• When adding a board, swipe left -> Tags -> +Manage Tags -> Tap Settings cog -> Toggle on off categories to hide or show -> tap the X when done to close tag manager (don't tap the tick until your board is done).
